2. Understand My Pricing

All sessions include about an hour of shooting time (or 20 minutes for Mini Sessions), editing, a download of high-resolution digital files and a print release. You can print wherever you like, but you can also order professional, archival-quality prints directly from your online gallery on my website. Check out pricing info here.

3. Check availability and book

Depending on the location, sessions are around sunrise and sunset. Popular dates book up fast (like weekends in October and the week the cherry blossoms are in bloom!), so reach out early if you need a particular date. And if I'm booked, never fear   - I know all the best photographers in Northern Virginia and will give you a list of recommendations. Once we have a date I'll send you a contract to secure your date. Your balance is due 2 weeks before the session. 

Sarah was fantastic. She was warm and professional from start to finish. She did an amazing job of capturing all of the special moments of our day, from the official group photos to the candid photos during the reception. She went out of her way to try to make the most of the rapidly disappearing sunset and we managed to get a great diversity of beautiful scenes around Magnolia Plantation. Sarah is amazing! She took photos of my family near the waterfront & I can't tell you how happy I am with the way our pictures turned out. My 18 month old was woken up by me after sleeping in the car & she was not in a good mood when we showed up to meet Sarah. I was so worried about how we were going to take pictures with a grumpy toddler. Well, Sarah whipped out a few toys (lifesaver) which distracted my daughter and stopped her from crying. Then Sarah had us do our own thing - playing with our daughter, chasing her around, walking together and holding hands as a family. If you saw the way our pictures turned out, you would have no idea that our daughter was just screaming minutes before we started taking pictures.
